Companies
Whilst it may not
be obvious, there are quite a few different types of
moving companies - and it is always best to select
one according to your needs.
There are many
different types of furniture removals services
available from cheap discount backloading removals
through to complete full service removals and there
are many different types of furniture removals
companies offering different types of services. This
is why it is always best to start researching
furniture removals companies and interstate
removalists as soon as you know you are going to be
moving - so that you can select the best company
with the right service for your required local or
interstate furniture removals in Australia.

Furniture
Removals Companies;
There are loads of furniture removals companies
available all performing different removals services
on different routes in Australia. Most moving
companies only operate in or between certain
states/area's - so depending on where you are moving
from and to, it can be tiresome trying to find one
that (A) Services the area you are moving between
and (B) Offers the specific type of service you
require and (C) is within your price range/budget
for your move.
Removalist Brokers;
Local and interstate removalist brokers are becoming
more and more common in the furniture removals
industry. Much like an insurance or mortgage broker,
removalist brokers generally have a list of
furniture removals companies and independent
removalists/sole traders who they consistently work
with on a regular basis. The bonus of using a broker
is that unlike a moving company, the service area is
not restricted due to only having trucks in certain
areas and the dates/schedule is often not a problem
as brokers generally have more than 1 or 2 moving
companies servicing the same routes. Additionally, a
larger range of service is available with varying
price points depending on what the client requires.
Whilst brokers of coarse do add in their fee,
generally they receive discounted
moving costs from the
moving companies due to the large volumes of work
they put through so the price to the client is
normally the same.
Independent
Removalists / Sole Traders;
There are many removalists who only run 1 or 2
trucks interstate and sometimes they can offer very
good rates for interstate removals. The problem with
only having 1 or 2 trucks is that if something
outside of their control was to go wrong - like a
truck breaking down or a client before you having
much more furniture than they previously advised,
then there is very little allowance for a backup
plan.
